In late 2006, Collingwood Neighbourhood Renewal (NR) conducted a community survey across the Collingwood estate to get a better understanding of the key issues, concerns and expectations of local residents.

A team of local residents conducted a total of 318 detailed surveys. The results were analysed by researchers at the University of Melbourne and compiled into a detailed report.
